Kwalu recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of our web sites, recipients of our e-mail newsletters, and all of our customers. Kwalu respects our users’ right to privacy and this privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for all programs, services and web sites owned by Kwalu.

Information Collection and Use
Kwalu collects information from our website users, subscribers and customers. In section one of our privacy policy, we will describe the type of information we collect and how we use it to provide better services to our customers.

When using some of our websites and signing up for certain selected services, users must first register. During registration, users are required to give their contact information – e.g., name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. We use this information to communicate with users, create a more personalized experience on our web sites, provide requested services, improve our services, and report internally on web page activity.

E-mail Newsletters
When a user chooses to subscribe to one of our e-mail newsletters, we ask for an email address. The email address is used to send the e-newsletter. Recipients of our newsletters can also request, via email, to be unsubscribed to any e-newsletter.

Communications with Kwalu
Requests for information, customer support, or other inquiries may be forwarded to the person best suited to provide a response. We may keep e-mails and other information sent to us for internal administrative purposes and/or to help serve customers more effectively.

Communications from Kwalu
In order to best serve our customers, we may send updates that contain important information about our web sites and services – e.g., welcome messages to new subscribers, purchase confirmations, password verifications, and usernames for access to password-protected sites. We may also communicate with a user to meet service requests and for account-related issues via e-mail, phone or regular mail.

Automatic Data Collection
For our internal purposes, we gather the following web site data from our users: time, browser type, navigation history and IP address. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally. We use this information for our internal security audit log, trend analysis, system administration, and to gather broad information about our user base for aggregate use.

Sharing Personal Information
We do not share personally identifiable information with other organizations, except those acting as our agents in providing our product(s)/service(s), and which agree to use it only for the stated purpose and to keep the information secure and confidential. Our parent, subsidiary, entities into which our company may be merged, or entities to which any of our assets, products, sites or operations may be transferred, will be able to use personal information only in accordance with this privacy policy. We will also disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law – e.g., in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property.

Updating and Correcting Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes – e.g., address – or if a user no longer wants a service or product, the user may correct or update personal data by contacting Kwalu by calling 877-695-9258.

Our users are given the opportunity to choose whether they want to receive information from us or our affiliates not directly related to the registered services. Instructions for making such choices are contained in e-mails sent by us.

We use reasonable precautions to protect our users’ personal information and to store it securely. We will not sell, share, or rent any contact, financial, or other information collected from you, except as necessary to fulfill your order. Internally, only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are allowed access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are located in a secure environment.
