Overbed Tables Low Profile Gas Assist U–Base
Our Low Profile Gas Assist U-Base overbed table is very accommodating. It’s not enough for this base to provide an over table space for dining and activities. The design takes into consideration everywhere it could possibly be used. The U-shape base fits easily around bed mechanisms which extend to the floor. The low profile allows for placement under most recliners and side seating when patients are out of bed. By moving it closer than raised overbed table bases, users can engage in activities more comfortably. This overbed table base is also height adjustable so users can rest their arms and reduce back stress.

Solid Surface Spill Proof Edge
The spill resistant, slightly raised edge of this solid surface top keeps minor spills in place on the top.
Gas Assist
The gas cylinder lift mechanism enables smooth and quiet height adjustment.
Adjustable Height
The table adjusts in height from 28.5″ to 42.5″.
Low Profile Base
The low profile base allows for placement under recliners and side seating when patients are out of bed.
Integrated Accessory Rail
An integrated rail to accommodate optional accessories is located on both sides of the column and is standard.
Weight Capacity
The table holds 100 pounds of evenly distributed weight.
Optional Vanity Drawer
An optional vanity drawer for storage of personal items is available for Kwalu Top with Rectangle Shape only.
Optional Storage Basket
An optional basket for storage is available and is easily attached to the integrated accessory rail.
Optional Urinal Hook
An optional urinal hook is available and is easily accessible on the integrated accessory rail.
Optional Kwalu Top
Available with a top made of Kwalu’s proprietary material. Spill proof capability not available with Kwalu Tops.
Optional Different Top Shapes
The Optional Kwalu Top is available in Rectangle, Kidney, Peanut and Jelly Bean shapes.
